Description

Volunteers are needed to help distribute packaged goods to Union County residents who are facing hardships due to the pandemic.  Food insecurity is a major concern during these challenging times. 

Student volunteers are greatly needed as the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders host another emergency drive-up food distribution event for Union County residents on Saturday. The volunteer shift begins at 7:30 a.m. at Kean University within the Vaughn-Eames Parking Lot near the North Avenue Academic Building (NAAB). The food distributions will be first-come, first-served and no registration is required for Union County residents picking up food.

Volunteers will be given a breakfast and lunch at the volunteer site.

Approved students will be emailed more details closer to the service project date.
